Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South. Highlights of the position include a focus on general gastroenterology, joining a highly collegial system-wide group comprised of general gastroenterologists, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists. The position offers a team of Advanced Practice Professionals to assist with consults, outpatient clinics, and patient overflow, along with an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network and 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite. There is strong support from collaborative specialties, including surgery, oncology, radiology, and GI pathology, and the EPIC medical record platform is utilized throughout the Ochsner Health.
