About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our newly established GI team in Springfield, Illinois. Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
