About The Position

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the areas of civil and environmental health engineering. Candidates must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties associated with the role. The job involves managing water, wastewater, and solid waste engineering projects, including planning, design, cost estimation, scoping, and evaluation. Additionally, experience with utility operations and maintenance activities is essential, along with compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent education and experience.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license issued by any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in interdisciplinary engineering positions.
• Knowledge of theories, principles, practices, and techniques of civil/environmental health engineering.

Responsibilities
