About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program.
• Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools for graduates from foreign nursing schools.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a master's degree in professional nursing.
• Experience in a specialty area of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and record medical histories and symptoms.
• Observe patients and document observations.
• Administer medications and treatments to patients.
• Develop care plans for patients or contribute to existing plans.
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment.
• Assist in performing diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries.
