About The Position

Ascension Seton is looking to add a Family Medicine Physician to our busy practice in south Austin Texas. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients. Requirements

Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.
Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal all denials in a timely manner.
Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
