About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Family Medicine physician for an outpatient practice located in Wahpeton, ND. This position does not require inpatient or hospitalist coverage. The practice is supported by a highly engaged Primary Care team consisting of 2 MDs and 5 advanced practice practitioners, covering Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. There are opportunities for mentorship and collaboration with local sports teams. The clinic also features on-site services including Optometry, Chiropractic, Behavioral Health, and General Surgery, as well as an Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center. The work schedule includes 36 patient contact hours per week, with an average of 16-18 patients per day. Additional outreach opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
