About The Position

Indiana Health Centers, Inc. (IHC) is a mission-driven organization providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to underserved and uninsured populations since 1977. With ten healthcare centers and eight Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program locations throughout Indiana, we offer primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to community-based patient populations that are diverse in age, educational background, and income level. IHC in Spencer, Indiana, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (M.D./D.O.) passionate about providing healthcare services to underserved populations in the area. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
  • Completion of an accredited Residency Program
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
  • Commitment to the mission of Indiana Health Centers, Inc.
  • Prefer working at an FQHC, CHC, or PCMH

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Experience in community health settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide healthcare services to underserved populations
  • Manage a patient load of 18-20 patients a day
  • Participate in a team-based collaborative care model
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR for patient documentation
  • Engage in integrated behavioral health practices

  • $236,000-$241,000 guaranteed salary
  • $100,000 loan repayment
  • $5000.00 CME and 40 hours of time off for CME purposes
