About The Position
Mercy in Missouri is actively recruiting additional family physicians to accommodate the incredible growth in the region and to provide exceptional primary care services. This opportunity offers a variety of practice settings, including outpatient-only, traditional family medicine, emergency room care, obstetrics, geriatrics, sports and occupational medicine, hospice and palliative care, and urgent care. Physicians can explore various locations such as Springfield and its surrounding suburbs, Lebanon, Rolla/St. Robert/Ft. Leonard Wood, Branson, Bolivar, and numerous rural health clinics. Each location provides incredible access to the natural beauty of the Ozark mountains, Mark Twain National Forest, Lake of the Ozarks, and various state and national parks. Mercy Family Medicine Springfield offers a guaranteed annual salary of $300,000, with compensation focused on quality metrics rather than wRVUs, ensuring adequate time with patients and a relationship-focused practice. The position includes signing bonus options, paid relocation, and public service loan forgiveness through NHSC-approved sites. New physicians will have immediate access to patients due to high demand and proven volumes, allowing them to focus on their niche or specialty interests. Flexible workweeks and hours are available, including the option for a four-day workweek, which supports a healthy work-life balance. The comprehensive benefits package covers the entire family and includes occurrence-based liability insurance, flexible vacation, continuing medical education (CME) opportunities with a $5,000 annual allowance, and minimal outpatient phone call responsibilities.
