About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Physician specializing in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for an outpatient practice located in Wahpeton, ND. This position does not require inpatient or hospitalist coverage. The practice is supported by a highly engaged Primary Care team consisting of 2 MDs and 5 advanced practice practitioners, providing care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. The clinic offers great mentorship opportunities and the chance to work with local sports teams. There is also a leadership/Medical Director opportunity available. Additional services such as Optometry, Chiropractic, Behavioral Health, and General Surgery are available on-site, along with an Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center. The work schedule includes 36 patient contact hours per week, with an average of 16-18 patients per day. There are additional outreach opportunities available.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Engage with a Primary Care team to support patient care.

• Manage a patient load of 16-18 patients per day.
