About The Position

The Spartanburg Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Spartanburg, South Carolina is a national leader in community family medicine education. We are seeking to add a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to our core faculty. The program is affiliated with both the Medical University of South Carolina and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolinas Campus. Highlights of the position include: 12 FM residents per year, First in the state to receive ACGME Osteopathic Recognition, Evidence Based Medicine, Largest program in the state, Collegial faculty.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a SC medical license
• FM board certification
• Love of teaching
• Background of practical experience or faculty development fellowship

Nice To Haves

• Prior academic teaching experience
• Point of care ultrasound certification
