About The Position

Ochsner LSU Health System and Louisiana State University Health Science Center- Shreveport seeks a BE/BC Endocrinologists for a full-time faculty position at an academic rank determined by level of experience and qualifications. The practice sees patients with common and rare endocrine conditions and is supported by strong departments of Medical and Surgical Oncology, ENT-Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neuro-ophthalmology, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, and more. Applicants would be expected to participate in all faculty activities, including medical student, house staff and fellowship teaching responsibilities; patient care in outpatient clinics; in-patient consultations to hospital services including surgical services, ob-gyn, labor and delivery, and psychiatry; clinical or lab research; and community service. The applicant must meet the following minimal standards: MD or equivalent terminal degree Qualify for a Louisiana medical license. BE/BC in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Requirements
