About The Position

The position is for an Endocrinologist in an established practice with a large referral base, offering Monday-Friday clinic hours with no call. The practice includes outpatient services with inpatient consults, an infusion center, and professional continuous glucose monitor studies. The facility has a service population of 142,000 and includes a 118 bed hospital with a 14 bed ICU.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
• Successful completion of a fellowship in Endocrinology accredited by ACGME, AOA, or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
• Demonstrated clinical activity for the last 12 months, including care of at least 50 patients.
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Admit patients if applicable to the setting.
• Provide treatment or consultative services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care for adult and adolescent patients with endocrine or metabolic disorders.
