About The Position

Optum New Jersey is seeking an Endocrinologist to join their team in Belleville, NJ. This role involves providing comprehensive care in Endocrinology, focusing on metabolic disorders, and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. The position offers a flexible full-time schedule with no evening or weekend shifts, emphasizing outpatient care and manageable on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New Jersey or in the process of obtaining it.
• Board Certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Active New Jersey CDS License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Treat all aspects of Endocrinology and Metabolic disorders including Diabetes, thyroid and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances.
• Conduct office consults, follow-up appointments, and outpatient procedures.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests for diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with patients' primary care physicians and other specialists as needed.
• Travel between multiple Endocrinology offices within close proximity in Belleville, Maplewood, and Springfield, NJ.
