About The Position

Carroll Health Group, the multi-specialty group affiliated with Carroll Hospital, is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our well-established outpatient endocrinology practice. You'll work alongside three board-certified endocrinologists, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a close-knit and appreciative community. The position is outpatient-focused with a 1:4 call rotation (primarily phone-based) and involves a broad range of endocrinologic care including diabetes management, thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis disorders, and thyroid biopsies (required). There is also an opportunity to provide inpatient consults on a rotating basis, supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment within the LifeBridge Health network.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology Fellowship (new graduates welcome).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and treating endocrine and metabolic disorders in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient endocrinology practice.
  • Manage a broad range of endocrinologic care including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis disorders.
  • Perform thyroid biopsies.
  • Provide inpatient consults on a rotating basis.
  • Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans to patients.
  • Guide patients on medications, lifestyle, and preventive care.
  • Complete patient encounter documentation and billing in a timely manner.
