About The Position

The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Endocrinology, has a faculty position opening for an Endocrinologist, who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center. This position offers a multifaceted role centered on providing exceptional patient care across ambulatory clinics, inpatient consults, and on-call services, adhering to the highest standards of diagnosis and treatment. Emphasis is placed on meticulous documentation to ensure comprehensive medical follow-up and timely billing. Additionally, the role involves educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and classroom settings, fostering their professional growth and evaluating their progress accordingly. A significant aspect of the position includes active involvement in research within the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Genetics, encompassing participation in trials and grant-funded studies aimed at advancing medical knowledge and patient care outcomes. Collaboration within the Division, Department, and School faculty activities is encouraged, tailored to accommodate schedule demands. The selected individual will be appointed at the Assistant Professor level within the Department, joining a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Requirements

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas
  • Fellowship-trained and board certified/board eligible in Endocrinology
