About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Part-Time (24 hours a week) Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Meridian, MS. Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Ability to work part-time (24 hours a week).
• Experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center is preferred.

• Experience with EPIC medical record platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a 24 Bed Emergency Department.
• Work 8 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
• Collaborate with a team of 20 hours of MD coverage and 28 hours of NP coverage.
• Support patient transfers through a unique Patient Flow Center.
• Utilize bedside ultrasound machines and in-house tech available 24/7.
• Participate in mentorship and support from the Emergency Medicine Director.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with residents.
