About The Position

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. This is an open continuous announcement. Interpretation of diagnostic studies: Computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR), X Ray and Ultrasound (US). Remainder of interpretations will be general imaging studies. Provide subspecialty expertise as applicable as a consultant to clinicians and surgeons. Act as imaging consultants to clinical services/sections. Direct the activities of residents, Medical Support Assistants, technologists, and nurses. Supervise the administration of medications, including contrast agents, by technologists and/or nurses. Responsible for supervision and interpretation of interventional procedures, depending on experience and preference. Ideal candidate will be a fellowship training, highly qualified and equally motivated diagnostic and/or interventional radiologist who possess appropriate skills and ability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic studies. Willing and capable to participate in our multidisciplinary Tumor Board with intent to coordinate care in our active liver directed therapy program, depending on experience and preference. Requirements

Ideal candidate will be a fellowship training, highly qualified and equally motivated diagnostic and/or interventional radiologist who possess appropriate skills and ability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic studies.
1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

Responsibilities
