Physician - Dermatology
About The Position
Kelsey-Seybold dermatologists treat a diverse patient population, including adults and children. They are responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical dermatology conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers. The Dermatology team at Kelsey-Seybold is expanding and currently comprises 35 providers across 19 locations in the greater Houston area. This team includes dermatopathologists, Mohs surgeons, pediatric dermatologists, and APCs. The services offered extend to phototherapy (nbUVB, excimer), extended patch testing, and certain cosmetic services. Dermatologists at Kelsey-Seybold engage in extensive collaboration with other specialists, including General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology. They also have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly journal club.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved training program in the United States
- Licensed in the State of Texas
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage all types of medical dermatology conditions including (but not limited to) acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers
- Offer additional services for patients including phototherapy (nbUVB, excimer), extended patch testing, and select cosmetic services
- Collaborate extensively with other Kelsey specialists including General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology
- Participate in a journal club that meets quarterly
