As Chair of the Department of Pathology at City of Hope, we invite applications for a full-time Cytopathologist to join our clinical faculty at our flagship campus in Duarte, California. This recruitment reflects our strategic commitment to strengthening subspecialty expertise and advancing academic programs in digestive system malignancies. We seek a mission-driven, board-certified academic pathologist with expertise in gastrointestinal cancers who will support growing clinical volumes, contribute to translational research initiatives, and engage in education and mentorship. The position will also include teaching responsibilities, particularly for our pathology fellows and other trainees who rotate through the Department. Our faculty are dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration, high-impact scholarship, and delivering subspecialized diagnostic excellence within a nationally recognized cancer program. As an academic medical center, City of Hope expects faculty to actively engage in scholarship through research and publication while also fulfilling a required commitment to teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and students, making both academic productivity and education fundamental responsibilities of this role.
