About The Position

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Current, unrestricted license in the state of New Jersey
• 1+ year of experience as a Physician, preferably within Corrections, Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical examinations of new inmates
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting of advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, RN case managers, medical assistants, administrative staff, etc.
• Supervise and coach a team of advanced practice providers as they provide primary care and urgent care services
• Monitors all referrals to external health care facilities
• Oversee clinical staff development and performance
