About The Position

Corewell Health Primary Care - Dowagiac, is seeking a dynamic full-time Family Medicine physician to join our growing primary care team in Southwest Michigan. If you are looking for a place to build a practice and form those lasting patient relationships, we encourage you to apply. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity and a generous starting bonus! This is a great opportunity for providers with student loans! Corewell Health Primary Care - Dowagiac, qualifies for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Award recipients, selected through the program's application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service! Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include; acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics. The team includes 3 providers, 1 physician and 2 APPs. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends. Fluency dictation available. We are also excited to offer Abridge, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients.
  • Conduct appointments including acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics.
  • Collaborate with a team of providers including 1 physician and 2 APPs.
  • Utilize EPIC as the electronic health record system.
  • Participate in the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program if eligible.
