POSITION OVERVIEW We have three (3) immediate openings for Core Faculty members in our Family Medicine Residency Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a progressive and collaborative team committed to training and developing future family practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, leadership, and clinical excellence in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Actively teach and mentor residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient clinical practice
  • Oversee the education and performance of residents and medical students.
  • Supervise outpatient prenatal care provided by residents.
  • Participate in Optional inpatient rounding with residents approximately every 4–6 weeks (subject to faculty schedules)
  • Deliver 8–12 lectures annually on key Family Medicine topics.
  • Regularly review and enhance the residency curriculum.
  • Lead and contribute to residency committees.
  • Oversee quality improvement projects across the residency program.
  • Serve as an advisor and mentor, providing guidance to residents.
  • Perform and supervise common outpatient procedures, including: Musculoskeletal procedures Dermatologic procedures Gynecologic procedures (Pap smears, contraception procedures, colposcopy)
