About the position

The Compensation Analyst will support various functions related to provider contracting, compensation modeling and design, compliance, Fair-Market-Value (FMV) support, benchmarking, and contract negotiations. This role involves analyzing provider contracts, ensuring compliance with FMV standards, and providing recommendations based on data analysis. The analyst will also collaborate with hospital teams and support acquisition efforts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure FMVs are accurate and that requested terms are supported by FMV, making recommendations based on FMV outcomes.
  • Provide analysis for new, renewal, and amendment of provider contracts based on current reports and FMV and Survey data.
  • Collaborate with hospital-based teams to provide FMV support for various medical positions and work with FMV vendors.
  • Communicate compensation model recommendations to facilities, potentially holding conference calls to explain preferred models.
  • Conduct Validation of Need (VON) analysis to provide recommendations based on current employed providers.
  • Provide Service Now (SNOW) support by ensuring correct documentation is uploaded and checking the accuracy of uploaded documents.
  • Support acquisition efforts by analyzing data from potential acquisitions and making recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Previous financial analysis experience required; 2 to 5 years of experience performing relevant financial analyses in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMS, Provider Survey Data (e.g., MGMA), and practice operations preferred.
  • High level of knowledge and experience with spreadsheet, word processing, and database software, particularly MS Excel or Google Sheets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Google and Smartview is a plus.
