PeaceHealth Medical Group is hiring a fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon to join an established General Surgery practice at RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. The practice highlights include a Colorectal Surgery need in the community with access to both internal and community referrals, a blended General and Colorectal practice dedicated to Colorectal Surgeries, and supportive mentorship with a collegial group of surgeons working together to better serve the community. The surgical interest includes rectal cancer, pelvic floor, perianal pathology, and IBD surgery. The position offers a 5-day work week with a call of 1:10. RiverBend Medical Center supports Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding communities, approximately 400,000 people. It is the largest hospital between Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA, equipped with 5 Da Vinci Xi systems. The catchment area extends to the Oregon coast and west cascades south to the Oregon/California border. Springfield and Eugene are located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, known for its wine country, outdoor activities, and vibrant culinary scene.
