About The Position

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a Physician Collaborator to provide clinical oversight and collaborative medical services within a federally supported residential youth program in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky 42259. Our client operates a comprehensive residential program serving young adults, ages 16–24. The program’s mission is to prepare participants for meaningful employment and independent living. This role provides clinical collaboration and medical oversight in support of advanced practice providers and nursing staff within a structured, community-based environment. Position Overview This is a contract position of Physician collaborator. Remote collaboration permitted (if allowed by state regulations) Minimal on-site presence required unless otherwise specified Location: Mammoth Cave, Kentucky

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the State of Kentucky.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty.
  • DEA registration (if prescribing oversight is required).
  • Current malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Must maintain active licensure and credentials throughout the contract period.
  • Must comply with all federal, state, and organizational policies regarding collaborative practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants preferred.
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical collaboration and oversight to assigned advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Be available for consultation regarding patient care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and prescribing.
  • Review and sign off on patient charts as required by state law and organizational policy.
  • Participate in periodic case reviews and quality assurance activities.
  • Support compliance with state licensing board regulations and scope-of-practice requirements.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing clinical protocols and treatment guidelines.
  • Maintain collaborative practice agreements as required by state regulations.
  • Provide guidance regarding complex or high-risk cases.
  • The physician will provide comprehensive on-site primary care services to enrolled students and maintain an active presence within the Health & Wellness Department.
