About The Position

Physician Clinic LPN, MA, or MA-40—BFIM Shift Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday—This is primarily a weekday physician clinic role, with just one or two Express Care shifts per month. Hours/shifts needed would include: · 8hours/shifts; Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Express Care Coverage: Candidates interested in participating in our weekend program may have the opportunity to work additional Express Care shifts with an enhanced weekend shift differential. · Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm · Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) The Physician Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates clinic activities for assigned clinic and provides patient care. This LPN is responsible for meeting the approved Standards of Practice, manages supplies and equipment in the clinic, and for promoting collaboration with physician and other health care providers. Medical Assistant Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs, and completes rooming process for patients of all ages. Assists nursing personnel with care of patient as directed by director/leader and/or provider within the scope of a Medical Assistant. Answers internal and external telephone calls for clinic and performs other clerical duties as directed. High School Diploma or equivalent. Medication Aide – 40 Hour Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs, and completes rooming process for patients of all ages. Assists nursing personnel with care of patient as directed by director/leader and/or provider within the scope of a Medication Aide. Answers internal and external telephone calls for clinic and performs other clerical duties as directed.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma
Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Nebraska
Current CPR/BLS certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program
Currently licensed as a Medication Aide – 40 Hour in the State of Nebraska

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Previous physician clinic and EMR experience preferred
