The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Classic Hematologist/Benign Hematologist with special interest in adult sickle cell to join our growing team of employed providers.   • Join a growing team of employed providers in the Cancer Care Service Line.
  • Provide care for patients with adult sickle cell disease.
  • Collaborate with multispecialty teams and tumor boards.
  • Participate in clinical trials and innovative treatment programs.
  • Contribute to the development of the Hematology Oncology fellowship training program.
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board eligible/board certified in Hematology.
  • State of Michigan medical license upon hire.
  • DEA registration upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC within 120 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by specialty within 120 days of hire.
  • Experience with clinical trials.
  • Academic appointment at Michigan State University commensurate with experience.
