The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of disorders, diseases and injuries related to Chronic Pain Management in a community health center model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis; and is responsible for medical assistant (MA) clinical supervision and ongoing verification of the MA clinical skills and competency. Additionally, at certain sites, the physician may serve as lab director for CLIA waived tests performed in the clinic. Commitment to serving an underserved, culturally diverse patient population in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting, including patients with complex chronic pain, behavioral health needs, and social determinants impacting care.
