About The Position

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic cardiologist with a clinical or translational research program in cardiac inflammation to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The successful candidate will focus on leading the Cardiac Inflammation Program, building research across cardiovascular disease disciplines, and providing both routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through our internationally and nationally recognized experts of more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists. Most of our faculty are principal investigators on various research projects in both the basic, translational, and clinical research settings.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified.
  • Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship.
  • Eligible for an Ohio License.
  • Clinical or Translational Extramurally funded research preferred.
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University.
