Position Summary: St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our highly skilled and collaborative cardiovascular team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a three-star STS cardiac surgery program with a fully developed Structural Heart program, offering a diverse and complex case mix including TAVR and MitraClip procedures. Team & Environment: Join a team of two experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons and six Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Collaborate with a comprehensive cardiovascular team of 20+ Cardiologists, including specialists in heart failure, level 5 imaging, general cardiology, interventional and structural cardiology, and electrophysiology. Interventional volumes exceed 600 cath lab cases annually, ensuring a robust and dynamic practice environment. Why You Belong Here: You matter. Requirements

  • MD/DO
  • BC/BE in Specialty
  • ACLS and BLS Certified
  • DEA License
  • Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
  • Interest in both open-heart and thoracic cases.
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced providers preferred; new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of open-heart and thoracic surgeries.
  • Participate in complex structural heart interventions and advanced cardiac procedures.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
