About The Position

Clinical practice and teaching activities are based at the University of Kansas Health System with satellite clinic locations and accredited outpatient diagnostic centers Clinical activities will include consultative cardiology to include complex heart failure management, pre and post VAD management, pre and post cardiac transplant management, and also non-invasive cardiac imaging Opportunities to engage in clinical and research programs in the breadth of cardiovascular medicine Participate in educational conferences Academic appointment

Requirements

Board Certified/Eligible by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure & Heart Transplantation
Completion of AHFTC Fellowship Program
Must be energetic, motivated and collegial with a strong commitment to education and training of cardiovascular fellows, residents and medical students
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
