About The Position
This hybrid position is ideal for a breast surgeon who values community‑based patient care supported by the depth, infrastructure, and collegiality of a nationally recognized academic cancer center. You will practice primarily at a satellite hospital within the health system, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care close to where patients live while maintaining access to: The KU Cancer Center’s NCI‑Designated Cancer Center resources, including robust clinical trial availability A metropolitan tertiary care network that ensures streamlined referrals and multidisciplinary collaboration A dedicated Breast Surgical Oncology practice, including call rotation integrated with a supportive surgical team Outstanding compensation and benefits aligned with systemwide standards
Requirements
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board Eligible/ Board Certified in General Surgery
- Completion of a specialized fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology
- Fellowship or Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship with a breast emphasis
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
