Requirements

High school diploma required

Responsibilities

Processes all incoming paper checks by scanning, indexing, and posting information on account with in 72 hours of receipt
Reconciles deposit and creates deposit
Has knowledge of Filebound system
Help post hospital payments if short staffed
Processes all incoming electronic remits uploading, indexing, and posting information on accounts within 72 hours
Processes daily deposits for bank.
Prints Medicaid remits from interchange
Processes electronic claim credit cards
Is aware and follow HIPPA rules.
Receives and answers correspondence concerning refunds.
Receives and answers correspondence concerning processing.
Prints Anthem remits from Availity daily
Has knowledge of Allscripts
Works as a team member.
Thoroughly document accounts in system when account is referenced for any reason.
Maintains organized and neat workspace
Ability to communicate with understanding and politeness with patients.
Adheres to hospital corporate compliance regulations
Maintain proper procedures for fire, disaster drills, etc.
