About The Position

Nicklaus Children's Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS) have an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) pediatric residency trained pediatrician or pediatric hospitalist with a minimum of two years post graduate experience (preferred) to provide Full Time and/or Staff Relief/POOL coverage in a newborn nursery located on Florida’s Gulf Coast in Collier County. This role presents a unique opportunity for a motivated candidate to provide coverage in the newborn nursery. Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) pediatric residency trained pediatrician or pediatric hospitalist
• Minimum of two years post graduate experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Average 3,700 deliveries per year
• 22-24 well newborn babies
• Completion of History & Physical, Progress Notes, Discharge Summary
• 15 shifts/month
• Day shifts to include mix of weekend and weekday coverage
