The department is staffed by 30 board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians, 18 pediatricians, and 15 advanced practice providers, with 24/7 on-call pediatric specialist/subspecialist coverage. Shifts vary from 7-10 hours based on the time of year, with coverage ranging from 3-8 physicians depending on the time of day.
