About The Position

Nicklaus Children’s Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the health system’s physician led multispecialty group practice, have an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) pediatrician to join our Division of Primary Care. Our pediatric care centers offer comprehensive care to children from birth through age 21 and serve as a trusted medical home for the local community, offering well-child visits, sick care, developmental screenings, and coordination with pediatric subspecialists when needed. The care environment is warm, welcoming, and supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals committed to excellence in pediatric medicine. The location at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is a NCQA-certified Patient Centered Medical Home and vital hub for children and families in our local and international communities. Our patient population includes children with a wide range of medical needs, including those with complex and chronic conditions, offering a rich and rewarding clinical experience. Employed staff benefit from affiliations with our educational partner, Florida International University (FIU). These positions include a faculty appointment at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in general pediatrics
  • Experience with or a strong interest in the medical home model of care
  • Passionate about advocacy, equity, and improving care for medically complex children
  • Eager to work in an academic setting and contribute to our mission of teaching and clinical excellence
