About The Position
Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 307-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level I trauma center, and Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, have an exceptional opportunity for a BC/BE non-operative orthopedist. This role will be part of the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute comprised of 12 orthopedic surgeons and a robust team of PAs, APRNs, RNs, athletic trainers and multidisciplinary pediatric specialists, as well as dedicated rehabilitation therapists and nutritionists. Nicklaus Children's Sports Health program is fast becoming one of the premier programs of its kind in the nation, combining state-of-the-art diagnostics and screening for elite, intermediate, beginner and special needs athletes. We have a strong ATC program with various elementary through college affiliations. This comprehensive Sports Health program is dedicated to enhancing young athletes' sports performance through a focus on injury prevention, performance optimization and individualized injury management. This position will be based primarily in Florida's Broward County near Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
