Requirements

  • Proficiency in medical procedures and terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to implement and interpret relevant policies and procedures.
  • Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to licensure regulations.
  • Ability to professionally address staff and patient queries.
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited PA (Physician Assistant) or FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) program.
  • Current NC Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure.
  • Current BLS or ACLS and PALS certifications.
  • Valid NC driver’s license and robust computer skills.
  • Emotional stability, professional maturity, and effectiveness in working with diverse staff and clients.
  • Competence in mediation and resolution of staff or patient issues.
  • Promotion of leadership qualities among all mid-level personnel.
  • Innovative and self-motivated personality.
  • Consistent engagement in annual continuing education.
  • Maintenance of current BLS or ACLS & PALS certifications
  • Active participation in quarterly provider meetings and ongoing communication with the Medical Director and Director of Clinical Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests, analyze results, and collect comprehensive patient information, including medical histories, physical examinations, allergies, and current medications.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clinical staff, managers, and fellow practitioners.
  • Administer minor treatments, such as suturing and splinting, and oversee their application when necessary.
  • Provide thorough analysis and treatment for patients of all ages and genders, maintaining precise progress notes and offering counseling for referrals.
  • Actively engage in patient care, including conducting health exams, obtaining accurate medical histories, and making detailed progress notes.
