About The Position
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Orthopedics Joint Replacement Falmouth, ME, is recruiting a Per Diem Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). The PA/NP will work with our new joint surgeon in both a surgical and clinic setting. Portland offers the best of urban sophistication combined with small-town friendliness. The area provides four season recreational opportunities, such as skiing, hiking, sailing, and miles of beautiful beaches. Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner with a first assist certification
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- NCCPA certification
- Current BLS required
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including medical histories, performing evaluations and wellness diagnosis
- Knowledge of indications for proper techniques for office procedures
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
