About The Position
Under general supervision of the Chairman of the Department of Hematology/Oncology Academic Medical Center and the Director of Cancer Services and Ambulatory Care, the position is responsible for evaluation and development of treatment plans for hematology/oncology patients. The role includes assisting in the care and management of these patients, which encompasses admission history and physical, ongoing assessment and intervention, coordination of inpatient and/or outpatient care, and discharge planning. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age-specific needs of the patient.
