Requirements

• Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited college/university.
• Current Physician Assistant, PA-C certification.
• At least one year of experience in a general clinic situation, preferably a physician practice.
• Certificate of current liability insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care to patients in the general population under the supervision of a physician.
• Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
• Educate and guide patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Emphasize preventative care and disease management.
• Manage overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues.
• Refer patients to appropriate medical/health care specialists when indicated.
