About The Position

Physician’s Assistant needed to practice primary care skills...Must be patient focused with good communication and assessment skills. Performs new patient consults, follow-up visits, and post-operative follow-ups in the office setting for a vast variety of urological conditions to include BPH, hematuria, elevated PSA, prostatitis, kidney stones, renal mass management, diagnosis and follow-up of prostate, bladder, and renal malignancies, and issues related to the upper and lower urinary tract system, etc. No night or weekend call required. Previous OR and robotic experience preferred.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program leading to a Masters Degree and/or meets the Physician Assistant requirements set forth by the Illinois Medical Licensure Board.
• Must process appropriate certification and degree from a United States Institution of Higher Education.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois prior to beginning employment.
• Computer literacy required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous OR and robotic experience preferred.
• At least two years’ experience in Rural Health practice is preferred but not required.
