About The Position

Physician Assistant – Women’s Health | Effingham Obstetrics & Gynecology Location: Effingham, Illinois Effingham Obstetrics & Gynecology, a Together Women’s Health partner, is inviting a full-time Physician Assistant to join our respected and collaborative women’s health team in the heart of Central Illinois. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice full-scope women’s health in a supportive environment that values balance, mentorship, and meaningful patient relationships. Why You’ll Love This Role Lifestyle-Friendly Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week (8-hour days) 9-hour days if in surgery with no call and flexible 1:5 weekend phone triage (call) triage collaboration Team-Oriented Culture: Join a 10-provider team (physicians, PAs, and CNMs) known for its collegial, patient-first approach and supportive work environment. Mentorship & Surgical Opportunity: Work alongside experienced OB/GYNs and advanced practice providers with opportunities for GYN procedures and surgical assisting based on your interests. Practice Snapshot - Effingham, IL Clinical Scope Includes: GYN-focused care: annual exams, problem visits, abnormal bleeding, pessary fittings and maintenance, infertility, STD testing OB intake, OB visits, Postpartum visits, c section assists. Office-based procedures: PTNS, IUDs, Nexplanon, colposcopy, endometrial biopsies, and skin tag removal Opportunity for surgical assisting for those interested Hospital Affiliations: HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital – Effingham, IL Sarah Bush Lincoln Surgery Center – Effingham, IL Support Structure: Dedicated MA support and a collaborative physician and APP team. Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in Illinois
  • Experience or strong interest in women’s health preferred (mentorship available for new grads)
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach
