Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
• Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Proven experience in pain management, anesthesiology, or related clinical settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of pain assessment, pharmacology, and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations related to pain conditions
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized pain management treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and institutional regulations
• Educate patients and their families about pain management options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Stay current with advancements in pain management practices and participate in ongoing professional development
