About The Position

The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws. In this role you will work full-time (Monday through Friday) in our Foot and Ankle Surgery department; this is a combination of Inpatient and Outpatient care. This position is based at are UH Geauga facility, but will require travel to our Beachwood and Mentor Locations.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Physician Assistant (PA) (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required)
Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire)
Maintain national PA Certification (Required)

Nice To Haves

1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
