About The Position

This position is in Downriver MI Communities

Hours: Thursday 8 am - 4 pm, Friday 8 am - 2 pm

General Summary:

Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the physician.

Works under the supervision of Dr. Kouba

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner License from the Ohio State Medical Board
• Knowledge of Nurse Practitioner theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Current BLS required.
• Master’s Degree and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan

Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis: Perform physical exams, take medical histories, and diagnose various skin conditions.
• Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and administer treatments for skin conditions.
• Procedures: Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and other minor surgical procedures.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and preventive measures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Other treatments and/or procedures after consulting with or under the supervision of the physician.
• Other duties as assigned.
