About The Position

Exciting Full-time Opportunity for an Experienced Physician Assistant in Tyler, TX. Our busy practice includes five experienced board certified pediatric surgeons covering a Dallas children's hospital, four additional NICUs and an ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities include: Assisting in all types of pediatric surgical cases, rounding on hospital patients discharging hospital patients Assisting surgeons in every capacity of patient care. The candidate may be experienced, or a newly graduating physician assistant with a motivation to learn and a commitment to a career in pediatric surgery. Texas medical license a plus. Previous experience required In east Texas, the city of Tyler is located roughly 100 miles southeast of Dallas and is Smith County’s hub for economics, education, finance, medicine and culture. Requirements

  • Previous experience required
  • Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
