Requirements
- A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
- Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the focus of the role
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment
- establishes medical diagnosis
- orders and evaluate diagnostic tests
- manages follow up care
- does other related work as required
- Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
