About The Position

Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent's Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their Acute Care/Trauma team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various functions including responding to trauma activations, consulting on acute surgical patients, first assisting in the operating room in robotic, laparoscopic and open cases, bedside procedures, and daily rounding on admitted patients. Our Surgical Services team consists of several APPs who work in collaboration with a variety of surgeons including trauma, general and subspecialty surgeons. Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent's Medical Center has a strong APP presence and encourages growth and development of our APPs. Requirements

  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' PA experience preferred; however, we recognize the value in new graduates and are willing to train the right motivated candidate
