About The Position

A for-profit Healthcare organization is seeking an experienced, certified Physician Assistant (PA), with experience in Telehealth (preferred but not mandatory) for direct hire . The company provides a PA to work with Assisted Living Facilities to provide a high level of quality care. The PA will be assisted by an Assisted Living staff member on-site with the patient. The NP is responsible for assessments and recommending treatments, medications, and or the need for OT and PT, etc. This is a full-time position (9:00 – 5:00 pm) or (8:00 – 4:00 pm) on-site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. There may be some flexibility in the schedule. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience assessing and evaluating patients. This position requires a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms . The PA will be responsible for all medical documentation,

Requirements

• Current New York State Board Certified OA
• NY State Medicare and Medicaid credentials - a must
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatments and medications
• Creating or modifying care plans and familiar with best practices
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Computer skills and experience with EMR software

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Telehealth
• Experience working with geriatric patients preferred
